Our Marriage and Relationship Ministry is here to support and equip couples as they prepare for marriage and continue to invest in the health of their relationship. We also walk alongside couples navigating hurt or conflict, offering hope and guidance as they pursue God’s path toward healing, peace, and lasting joy in marriage.
Marriage Prep
At Salem Alliance, premarital counseling is all about creating a safe and grace-filled space where you can be real with each other, grow in your emotional and spiritual connection, and have the kinds of conversations that set you up for a strong foundation. Our pastors and mentors come alongside engaged or seriously dating couples, using a personal assessment as a springboard for honest conversations, deeper understanding, and intentional preparation for marriage.
Marriage Conversations
If you would like to talk with a pastor or marriage mentor about marriage-related issues, we would love to connect with you. These conversations are a place to share your story, gain insight and wisdom from others, receive prayer and make connections to other resources as needed.

Marriage Resources
We encourage couples to continue learning and growing together through biblically grounded and emotionally honest resources. These books offer wisdom, perspective, and practical tools to help couples deepen their connection and navigate marriage well.
Christian Marriage Podcasts
A candid and biblical podcast covering sex, communication, conflict, in-laws, and everything in between. They speak with grace and humor while keeping Christ at the center of marriage.
Practical, honest conversations about love, intimacy, conflict, and biblical roles in marriage. The Fredericks share real struggles and triumphs to encourage covenant-based relationships.
Focused on building a Christ-centered marriage that lives on mission. Offers encouragement, real-life stories, and biblical teachings to grow spiritually together as a couple.
While not always overtly faith-based, it’s widely used by Christian couples. Focuses on communication, sexual intimacy, and intentional connection.
Not a full marriage podcast, but several episodes stem from the Loveology book and include biblical teaching on relationships, dating, sex, and covenant.
Enneagram
We believe the Enneagram can be a powerful tool in helping us discover and name the deeper parts of who we are and how we’re uniquely designed. It not only gives language to our strengths and challenges, but also helps us understand how we best interact with others. That’s why we highly encourage couples—especially those preparing for or entering into marriage—to explore the Enneagram together. It can make a tremendous difference in learning how to truly see, value, and understand one another in meaningful ways.
