This seminar explores Paul’s understanding of the Law (Torah) within the story of Israel and the Exodus, and how that understanding is reshaped through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Drawing on the work of New Testament scholar Nijay Gupta, we will address common misunderstandings about “law versus grace” and discover how Paul reads the Law not as something discarded, but as something fulfilled, transformed, and reframed around Christ.
Light lunch will be provided. Register below!
Sunday, March 22 | 12:30 - 3:00 PM
Mexico Room 304 - Broadway Commons
Join us on March 22 for a special live call with Cameron as he shares about the ministry in Cambodia. Come hear firsthand what God is doing and how lives are being impacted. We will gather in the Mexico Room at Broadway Commons from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and enjoy a time of food, connection, and encouragement together.

Paul serves as a pastor in the church and coaches Mas-Wrestling at Center 360 for the physically challenged community
We continue our work at Center 360
At the beginning of the year, we faced several challenges, including an increase in rent. We are continuing to work with our trainers and are praying for an additional full-time trainer who can be present in the gym and lead the work on a consistent basis. This is very important for the center, but it also requires financial resources.
Family and Church
Praise God, we began this year together as a family and have entered a new season. We are now gathering in the Joy Church building, which has made it easier to invite people, welcome guests, and grow together in fellowship and service.
We also share joyful news. My wife Vika received her U.S. visa on the fifth attempt, and we believe this is God’s perfect timing. She will join me at the conference, and we will also be able to visit relatives and friends. During this time, the grandparents can stay with our children, which makes it easier for us to travel. We are grateful to God for His perfect timing.
We’re excited to welcome Dan to the team as he steps into the role of Furniture Bank Coordinator. Read below to learn more about Dan and join us in welcoming him to staff.
I'm excited to join the Furniture Bank team! My background uniquely prepares me for this role: years in youth and children's ministry overseeing volunteers and events, experience improving organizational systems, farm-raised work ethic (I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty!), and my work as a mental health counselor. This combination means I bring compassion, heart, and maybe a little humor to helping people establish new homes.
I was born and raised right here in Oregon and came to Christ at age 8 through my best friend's family—we've been like family for 30 years now. I'm married to Sarah (yes, the amazing one on staff!), and we have a wonderful daughter and a husky. In my spare time, I run a fashion page called "Dan the Matching Man," and I love board games, crafting, and adventures. Looking forward to serving with you all!
