We love the Christmas season here at Salem Alliance. Christmas is when we stop and thank God for sending His son, Jesus, Immanuel – God With Us.
Tree of Giving is an opportunity to demonstrate and declare to our neighbors that God sees them, and is with them through the generosity of his church.
There are two main ways you can join us as we love our neighbors this Christmas season.
#1: Provide a gift! In the lobby you will see a Tree with Red and Green paper ornaments. These ornaments have gift registries for shopping online or in person.
#2: Volunteer! We need volunteers to help set-up Dec. 9-11, 2025 & to help families shop for gifts during the event on December 12, 2025.
Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, is an unforgettable prom experience, centered on God's love for people with special needs.
Night to Shine Guest registration is now full! Please visit our page for more information on how to volunteer for this amazing event!

We are starting a series of conversations about sex. Because…we want to be a church that does sex well. It is our conviction that: Sex is good. Sex is a multi-purposeful gift from God. Sex is complicated. Sex is part of being a human. Sex simply is. So, why wouldn’t we learn to invite God into our sex lives - past, present and future? These conversations will be relevant to couples, singles, divorced, widowed, younger, older, anyone with a body.
Saturday, November 15 | 7:30–9:00 a.m.

Do you have an iPhone you’re no longer using? We’re collecting used iPhones (newer than iPhone 7) to send to partners serving in a creative access location. These devices will be used for secure communication and ministry work in areas where safe, encrypted tools are essential.
If you have a working iPhone that meets the requirement, please:
- Erase all personal data and remove it from your Apple ID/iCloud.
- Include a charger if possible.
- Drop it off at church during November with Laura Cha’s name attached.
Your donation will make a meaningful difference by helping our brothers and sisters stay connected and share hope where it’s most needed.
Thank you for your generosity and partnership!

Greyson is a Missio student currently serving in the Middle East.
"A teammate and I launched our first youth soccer night! I feel like I learned more arabic from these 6-10 year olds in one night than I do in a week! We are hoping that the community sees value in these nights as we coach them and also implement principles of light and truth while doing so.
I have never experienced so much heat in October and November, which reminds me of the misty and rainy fall in Oregon. This is a bizarre experience for me because time is passing by, but the lack of seasons makes it feel as though time is standing still. Holidays are around the corner, but they almost seem out of place. I am still heavily reminded that this is a season of pruning in my life, and would appreciate your “thoughts” for growing maturity and relational capacity with those the Father has placed before me amidst grieving what the holidays usually hold for me."
Cayla currently serves as a nurse at Black Forest Academy in Germany.
"Volleyball season is wrapping up, the leaves have changed, the air is crisper, the promise of Christmas markets is on the horizon, and there are only 5 more weeks left in this semester. Some of the busiest time in the Health Office is from August through the beginning of November. I personally feel like I can start to take a deep breath now after the onslaught that was the beginning of the year and I am thankful for the shorter days and reminders to rest.
I have so far coordinated and ran two vaccine clinics where we gave 267 vaccines, gone on the Junior Trip to Normandy/Paris, hosted 3 nursing interns from Biola, worked athletic games, mentored two students and had coffee with others, led small group, and continued to care for the day to day health needs of the students at the school."
Prayer Requests:
For energy. That I would not grow weary of doing good and engaging in ministry as the semester end looms closer.
Protection from Satan’s attacks of discouragement: he has been quite intense with his schemes to discourage me lately.
