Soul Care 2.0
For Men:
Soul Care 1.0 is a required prerequisite
If you have already participated in Soul Care 1.0 and want to continue with some more specific and focused work, we are offering the following:
-
This group will work through Jon Tyson’s book, The Intentional Father. It’s a practical and applicable book designed to help fathers reflect on their experience growing up, process through wounds and joy related to their upbringing, and develop clarity about what it would mean to father their (sons in particular) kids with intentionality. This group lays out a clear path for fathers and sons that includes specific activities, rites of passage, and significant "marking moments" that can be customized to fit any family.
-
We’re all addicted to something, whether we realize it or not. This group will read and process through materials which introduce the wisdom of the 12 Steps through the lens of Jesus' teachings. We all struggle with patterns of brokenness, control, and misplaced desires. The 12 steps offer a hopeful path toward honesty, surrender, healing, and the freedom that Christ invites us into.
For Women:
-
This group will explore personal healing and spiritual growth, while learning to better hear God's voice, using the book Listening and Inner Healing Prayer by Rusty Rustenbach.
-
Do you know how all the key events of your life fit together to make sense of who you are today? Making sense of and making peace with everything of consequence in our story is an important way to develop a coherent life narrative. Using Make Sense of Your Story, this group explores how your past has shaped you through writing and sharing short stories from your life. This group is for those who are willing to write, share honestly, listen well, and remain present as others share their stories.
Mixed Gender:
-
If you have found the Soul Care process and principles helpful for your spiritual growth and healing, we invite you to join a Life Group where you can continue to process and practice them in community. This group is designed to help you integrate foundational principles—such as Identity and Repentance—into your everyday life of following Jesus. Each week will include a spiritual practice that complements the principle we are exploring, providing practical ways to deepen your relationship with God throughout the week.
Healthy Sexuality
We care about both restoring and developing a healthy understanding and practice of sexuality, and we have support groups to help you along the way. These groups start at different points throughout the year and meet on different nights of the week. They're available for men and women — whether you're working through your own unwanted sexual behaviors, or navigating the betrayal trauma caused by a partner's painful choices.
