Kara Oyer is serving refugee kids and youth at the International Prayer Gathering (IPG) as the Kid’s Program Coordinator. The IPG is a partnership between Salem Alliance Church and Ariana House, with a vision to see people from multiple tongues, tribes, and nations transformed by Jesus Christ as they seek Him together. Kara's role with the refugee kids and youth is expanding as the ministry grows. Each Sunday, over 50 kids, of all ages, sing, hear a Bible story, create crafts, and play games. The program seeks to provide a warm, fun, and safe environment for children of all nations to draw closer to Jesus.
With her expanded role, she needs to raise financial support to cover her additional hours. Salem Alliance Church is her sending church and is contributing a portion of her monthly salary. Her goals are to raise $1750/month to cover her additional hours and to have 50 people on her prayer support team. God is transforming lives and she is so blessed to be a part of what He is doing by discipling kids at the IPG.
