Help My City

During a crisis like this, we especially need volunteers to fuel our vision to see Salem be a city at peace with God.

Scroll down to see all the opportunities.

Encouragement Packages

We sense God asking us to encourage those who are working so hard in this season, and we are currently making encouragement and appreciation packages for frontline workers, teachers and community partners. We need more of your words to speak blessings and encouragement to those in our city. Make a card or a poster. Some examples of what you can do are: formal encouragement, bible verses, or even art.

Cards and posters can be dropped off at the Information Desk at Broadway Coffeehouse or mailed to the church address, 555 Gaines Street NE, Salem, OR 97301 (no envelopes are needed for cards.)

Feed Salem Donations

Feed Salem provides food boxes the 3rd Saturday of the month for families in our community.
While we are collecting non-perishable foods and paper/cleaning products, we are specifically in need of canned chicken, apple sauce, canned peaches or pears, pasta roni and rice a roni.

Drop off:
Broadway Coffeehouse: 7:00 am–2:00 pm
Better Than Mamas: 10:00 am–7:00 pm
Feed Salem Location: Thursdays and Fridays from 12:00-3:00 pm

If you are interested in helping make masks, we have material, elastic etc. for you. Please come to the main church parking lot Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 am–1:00 pm — enter the south side of the lot at the corner of 5th and Gaines. You can pick up mask material or drop off masks you’ve made.

Outreach In-Person Volunteer

We occasionally need small groups of people (3-4) to help with sorting or assembling items donated.

We are accepting donations of socks of all sizes to be given to our homeless community. New socks can be dropped off at any of our drop-off locations: Feed Salem, Masks, Broadway, Better than Mama’s.
