World Impact:  World Impact ministry, whether it occurs locally, regionally, nationally or internationally, is a tremendously rewarding way to extend God’s grace as we place others ahead of ourselves, and serve the Kingdom with a more global perspective.

Team Goals: This team has been requested by Thai national pastors and missionaries who are developing relationships within their communities. One method that they use to do so is to provide needed services such as community development. The national church works alongside the stove team to provide prayer and evangelistic opportunities. Creative individuals capable of designing and producing “Rocket Stove” options for rural Hill Tribe peoples accustomed to heating and cooking over open fires are needed. Patience and teaching skills are also needed for this small group of 3 men who will work in conjunction with a medical team. We will work with Debbie Vik, Salem Alliance International Worker who has worked in Thailand for 30+ years. This team will work in several villages throughout the Hill Tribes areas of rural Thailand.

Mission Organization:  Christian and Missionary Alliance, Debbie Vik

Location:  Rural Thailand

Housing:   Simple hotel accommodations. There will be regular American bathrooms and beds, and great fellowship/blessings. A few nights may be staying in a village in camping style situations. The weather is quite cool.

Transportation:  Airline, followed by rented van or bus.

Cost:   $3000.00 plus travel meals
Includes: airline ticketing, travel health insurance, Visa (trip specific), food, housing, ground transportation, and project costs (supplies and materials).

Fundraising:  All members participating in a World Impact Trip are required to send a prayer letter/email.  This may also help raise support for their trip expenses. If a team member receives contributions beyond their need, the extra monies will be used for other trip related expenses.

World Impact “Mission Trip” 2017 Document List:   Travel out of the country requires all paperwork and a valid passport are submitted by the posted due dates.  We cannot travel outside the United States without proper documents for Immigration & Customs Inspectors (going into another country and coming back into the USA).  Please carefully review the important checklist items and timelines noted below.
