Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in Salem Alliance Church. We’re a community of people who are on a faith journey together. We’re all at different stages. None of us have “arrived.” But together we’re experiencing the joy of entering into the love of Jesus.
I’m sure you will find this website helpful in answering many of your questions about us. But, if you can’t find something you are looking for, don’t hesitate to call our church office at 503.581.2129.

Foundations
Here is what one former member of Foundations had to say about her experience there:
"I discovered Foundations a few months after becoming a Christ-follower. I was eager to find a place to ask questions and learn the fundamentals about my new faith. It was great to be warmly accepted right away and to ask any question without feeling "dumb." Now, being a mother of young children, it is wonderful to have answers to their many questions: "Who is Jesus?", "Why do we go to church?", "Does Moses know me?" Also, as a current leader in other areas of the church, being able to grasp and articulate important religious concepts has been invaluable to my ministry. Foundations has blessed my marriage, my walk with God and my parenting. I recommend it for adults of any age."
Do not delay! Join Foundations now! All adults at any level of spiritual maturity are urged to attend. We meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm; childcare is provided. Topics still to be covered this semester include: sanctification, heaven and hell, sharing your faith and worship. For more information about Foundations or any other small or mid-sized group, stop by the Group Life counter in the lobby today or contact Rebecca Anderson at randerson@salemalliance.org

Volunteers Needed!
Marion/Polk Food Share (MPFS) has recently been generously blessed with donations from corporate food producers. Donations of meat, vegetables and other foods urgently need to be re-packed into smaller portions and sent out to the food pantries so they can get out to hungry families in our community. Volunteers are needed to come to the Food Share Warehouse at 1660 Salem Industrial Dr. NE from 8:00 am to noon and noon to 4:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday for several weeks. If you can help, please come or call Kat at MPFS 503-581-3855, x322. If you are part of a small group, consider serving together! Thank you in advance for volunteering!
