About This Presentation

On the weekend of September 9-10, 2006, a worship series called "Destined to Serve" began at Salem Alliance Church. During that first weekend of the series, we looked back at how God had blessed this church through the years since its beginning in 1922. The services that weekend featured a presentation of our history, including a dramatic reading, pictures, and a video. The presentation was repeated during weekend services January 13-14, 2007.

That history has been reproduced here, using the sound recording from a live presentation, plus copies of the images and video. The actors are Lorie Neighbors, Steve Wilent, and Nancy Hill. The slide show lasts about 10 minutes and 20 seconds.

When will the presentation start? It's downloading really slowly.

The presentation will start when it is 20% downloaded.

The presentation stops partway through.

Usually this means that it hasn't downloaded completely. As the download proceeds, the presentation should continue. If it doesn't, reload (or refresh) the web page, then use the "fast forward" button on the controller to get back to (approximately) where you were.

The presentation doesn't work at all. Apparently I'm missing a plug-in or something like that.

This presentation uses a technology called Flash. It's used in several places on this website - such as the sliding pictures in the header. Can you see those? If not, you may need to download and install Flash on your computer.
