We are currently accepting registrations for Thanksgiving basket sponsors looking to support a family in need this fall. Trunk or Treat Hosts and Candy Donations - Register by Sunday, October 15
Saturday, October 28, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm. We are in need of candy donations, trunk hosts and helpers to run various activities during this year’s Trunk-or-Treat event. We are inviting our Grant and Highland neighbors to come trick-or-treating, and we encourage decorated trunks, costumes and fun! Individually wrapped candies may be donated in the barrels in the lobby anytime between now and October 22. If you are considering hosting a trunk, please let us know by Sunday, October 15, as we will need to confirm a minimum of 50 trunk hosts and helpers in order to proceed with this year’s event. **CANCELLED - Peacemakers Seminar**

Peacemakers Seminar - Resolving Everyday Conflict
Friday, October 20, from 7:00–9:00 pm and Saturday, October 21, from 9:00 am–2:00 pm. The Peacemakers Seminar offers trained conciliators to help you explore steps toward forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration using practical principles drawn straight from the Bible. Prayer for Our City
Friday, October 20, from 9:30–11:00 am in the Middle East Room, 301. Join us as we pray for our city. We'll spend time covering our schools, community services, neighborhoods, police, fire, hospitals and more in prayer. We gather on the third Friday of every month.

The Employment Network seeks to prepare people in transition to find new employment and connect with any employers or managers who have job openings for potential networking opportunities. Women’s Retreat — “Wanderer & Warrior”
Friday, October 27, through Sunday, October 29, at Cannon Beach Conference Center. Our annual women’s retreat in Cannon Beach is a wonderful weekend away to rest, build community and be refreshed in the beauty of creation at the Oregon Coast! This year our speaker, Lora Goodenough, will be sharing about the life of Joshua who lead the Israelites after Moses and lived through many seasons of being both a wanderer and warrior. Healing Journey Conference
Friday, November 17, from 6:30–9:30 pm and Saturday, November 18, from 8:30 am–12:30 pm. One of God’s names we find in Scripture is Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26). God can heal through many forms of care, and His work is holistic in that He desires to bring healing to our whole being: our body, mind, emotions and relationships. The Healing Journey Conference, led by Laura Scharer and her team, will provide tools and teachings on ways to walk the healing journey with Jehovah Rapha. Grief Support Group
Tuesdays, beginning January 9, at 6:30 pm in the Africa Room, 303. If you have experienced an overwhelming loss from death or some other circumstance, a new 14-week session is beginning that will provide hope and support on the journey of grief. Financial Peace University
Mondays, beginning January 15. Financial Peace University teaches God’s ways of handling money through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities. It presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. Spots fill quickly! Cost is $99.
