Employment Network
Our Employment Network Learning Community exists to reach out to people in employment transition, helping prepare them to find new employment and hope in Christ during this journey. In level 1, we offer a 10 week curriculum designed to identify transferable skills, identify possible barriers to employment, and teach job search skills like resume writing and networking. Local business owners visit as guest speakers and present lessons from their personal experiences. Skills are presented in a classroom setting on Mondays and practiced with mentors on Thursdays. Employment Mentors will also offer mock interviews for practice. Level 2 offers even more application and practice of the skills learned in level 1, as well as optional time with a mentor for encouragement and one-on-one coaching.
